ONLINE SUMMER TECH CAMP 2020

Welcome to our Online Summer Tech camp! We are excited to connect with our students on a different platform where learning and making new friends can still happen.

We have been busy putting together an absolutely awesome curriculum for our students and are keen for them to start learning. From coding and programming to developing their own games and creative 3D model design,our students will learn in-demand skills that will set them ready for the future.

2 hours of Live instruction plus 1 hour of self paced project management with the “funnest” curriculum

Fee: N15,000(You save N 40,000.00) per child per week

Programs on offer:

Coding

Students get introduced to basic programming as they create interactive stories, design animations, and make mini-games in a game-like interface. Students learn with the help of their instructor as they progress through interactive tutorials, solve coding puzzles, follow along to build their own projects and take quizzes. All students’ work is automatically tracked and assessed.

Fundamentals of Computer Science

This course focuses on Computer Science Principles which introduces students to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. More than a traditional introduction to programming, it is a rigorous, engaging, and approachable course that explores many of the foundational ideas of computing so all students understand how these concepts are transforming the world we live in.

Programming language: Block Programming
Requirement: Laptop/ Desktop, internet and Google Chrome Browser.

3D Design and Modelling (Tinkercad)

Unleash creativity with art, 3D modelling and fun creations! Student will learn 3D design and modelling using the Tinkercad platform. The students will learn to think, create and bring their creations to life.

Age group: 7-9
Requirement: Laptop/ Desktop, internet and Google Chrome Browser.

Robotics Simulations

The application has a wide variety of simulations including two-wheeled table robots, industrial arms, bipeds, multi-legs robots, modular robots, automobiles, flying drones, autonomous underwater vehicles, tracked robots, aerospace vehicles, etc.

Programming language: C, C++, Python, Java, MATLAB or ROS with a simple API covering all the basic robotics needs.
Age group: 7-9
Requirement: Laptop/ Desktop, internet and Google Chrome Browser.

Machine Learning for Kids

This course introduces the students to machine learning and artificial intelligence. Students will learn to train machine learning models to recognize text, numbers, images and sound.

Programming language: Scratch
Requirement: Laptop/ Desktop, internet and Google Chrome Browser.

Coding

  

This course is designed to introduce students to web development through hands-on experience with HTML and CSS. They will learn the key tools needed to build a simple website, and they will be given a chance to complete a creative final project using their skills.
The objective is to learn how to Analyze the setup of a web page., how to Use correct terminology to refer to HTML basics. and to Distinguish between programming languages and markup languages.

Concepts covered are Basic HTML,Basic CSS,Alter existing web pages,Creating a shareable web page

Game Development

Unleash your creative skills with this interactive design and game development program

Programming language: Lua

Requirement: Laptop/ Desktop, internet and Google Chrome Browser.

Download Roblox and Roblox studio. Students need to set up their own account and come to class with username and password
