STEM METS Online Learning Program

KideScience is a S.T.E.A.M based program from Finland that develops young children’s scientific thinking skills through imagination and engaging hands-on experiments that solve real science problems.

START EARLY: Scholars agree that scientific thinking needs to be introduced for children already in their early years because 2-6 year-olds are generally interested in scientific phenomena and it dramatically decreases as they get older

PLAY AND LEARN: Children feel like they are playing and enjoying themselves while in fact, they are building highly important skills needed in scientific process and thinking

AGE APPROPRIATE CONTENT: Playfulness is crucial in preventing the learning situation from exceeding the children’s comprehension. If that happens, the child’s confidence and enthusiasm can suffer

Classes take place on Zoom with Live Instructors
Required for the experiments are general households items.

This Coding Platform uses Gaming to teach Computer Science,Web Development and Game Design! Students master core coding concepts and learn in-demand skills while playing-it’s a practical and fun way to learning coding

Uses typed code, not drag ­and ­drop blocks. We believe that getting students to real typed code as quickly as possible is critical to learning essential computer science concepts. It also allows far more creativity and flexibility ­as students are free to solve problems however they see fit.

Building critical skills for the 21st century

Your child will learn how to navigate and become citizens in the digital world. This platform’s solution enhances your child’s critical thinking, creativity, and resilience, empowering them with the skills they need for any industry.

Students type real Python or JavaScript while playing games that encourage trial-and-error, critical thinking, and creativity. Students then apply the coding skills they’ve learned by developing their own games and websites in project-based courses.

Practice levels and hints help students when they get stuck, and challenge levels assess students' learning throughout the game.

Requirements: At least 4GB of RAM, on a modern browser such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Chromebooks with 2GB of RAM may have minor graphics issues in later courses.

This program is designed for that independent learner that wants to learn at their own pace. This course uses the same platform as the Coding Pod with learners designing their own learning path with full access to all available courses and progression levels

Students are encouraged to keep track of their progress via a personal progress journal and our teachers monitor progress on the dashboard in the Learning Management System.
